Are you an experienced animal lover looking for meaningful, flexible work?
We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate live-in pet sitter to join our team and provide exceptional care to pets in their own homes while their owners are away.
You’ll be working as part of our established business, representing our values and high standards of care. This is a perfect role for someone who has a true passion for working with animals, and the flexibility to take on bookings that fit their lifestyle.
What the Role Involves:
- Live-in pet sitting for clients, following their pet’s routine as closely as possible.
- Stays can range from overnight to several weeks, so you must be comfortable with staying away from home for periods of time.
- Predominantly holiday sitting and overnight stays, with potential to take on more work as the business continues to grow.
- Flexibility is essential – this is ad-hoc work with varying durations.
- Ideal for someone with other remote or freelance work.
What We’re Looking For:
- Aged 18 or over.
- Clear DBS check and pet first aid qualification required before starting (we’ll cover your insurance).
- Own transport is essential.
- Confident and experienced with a range of dogs. Rescue experience highly desirable.
- Committed to force-free, positive reinforcement methods (we do not allow aversive tools or techniques).
- Calm under pressure and capable of making safe, logical decisions in unexpected situations.
- Excellent communication and timekeeping skills.
- Genuinely caring, trustworthy, and able to provide a high standard of animal care.
- Must be able to commit to bookings in advance and overnight stays.
