Looking for a friendly and empathetic Personal Assistant to assist a lady with maintaining independence at home, daily living tasks and personal care.
My client is looking for someone to assist with personal care such as washing and dressing and light domestic tasks such as meal preparation. Also to assist with housework around the home such as hoovering, dusting and general organising and tidying. Also to encourage and support with accessing the community. Support to enjoy being outside in the garden, visit different places and go out for a coffee.
A reliable carer to help with mobilising within the home and ideally someone who is experienced with transfers using a hoist. Experience with spinal injuries would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate would be a good listener with good communication skills and an attentive approach that is sensitive to the client’s preferences. Candidates must be cat friendly, as there is a cat in the client's home and feeding and changing the litterbox will be included in the domestic duties.
Shifts will be full days or split shifts with the opportunity for extra hours for holiday and sickness cover.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.25 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
