Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with local authorities? We're looking for a proactive Permitting Coordinator to take charge of running and scheduling works across various regions — ensuring all permits are secured on time and fully compliant with regulations.
In this key role, you'll be the central point of contact for all permit applications, working closely with internal teams, external agencies, and local councils to keep projects running smoothly and on schedule. From applying for and tracking permits to resolving rejections and navigating regulations, your ability to deliver a seamless, "can-do" service will make all the difference.

The must haves- Previous experience raising permits with multiple Planning Authorities/Local Authorities
- Experience in permitting coordination, planning, or administration within utilities, highways, or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of local authority permitting processes and relevant legislation (e.g., NRSWA, TMA).
- Knowledge and understanding of the Overreach product and portal
- Proficient in using permit management systems, MS Office Suite, and relevant planning tools.
- Knowledge and understanding of networks drawings and plans
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to build positive relationships with local authorities and internal teams.
- An excellent communicator with an ability to put over ideas in a clear and logical manner.
- Time and resource skills to develop appropriate methods of working to meet the demands of the role
- Ensure full understanding and adherence of the Data Protection Act and Ofcom regulation
