Job Description
We’re seeking a highly capable People Solutions Analyst, covering Maternity leave on a 12 months fixed term contract, to enhance the performance and support optimisation of our HR technologies. This role provides continuous functional and technical support in the development, implementation. Working in partnership with Product Owners, Technology, the People Function and the business, this role drives enhancements to empower employees and troubleshoots issues when they arise.
You will be technically astute; possessing advanced excel and analytical skills as well as being able to understand user requirements and translate these into potential solutions. This role is key to ensuring the optimum performance of our solutions, gathering & analysing data and making recommendations based on trends and metrics. This role requires a keen eye for detail as well as the ability and appetite to problem-solve.
Key Responsibilities
Main:
• Tests and troubleshoots functional issues as they arise; and implements changes necessary to achieve successful resolution of functional issues. Works closely with the Technology team and/or Product Owners to resolve any issues or challenges.
• Supports requirements definition, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of assigned people solutions.
• Partners with Product Owners and Technology on all upgrades, enhancements, and implementations to ensure testing and documentation are completed, signed off and technology knowledge is always kept up to date.
• Provides system support for all people applications and solutions including but not limited to: Oracle HCM, learning management, case management, time and attendance, recruitment & referral, recognition. Compensation, including Payroll, Talent Management, including Goals
• Manage all the essential digital records where data is not yet being managed by individuals or HR.
• Responsible for managing data uploads and downloads between solutions where we do not have automated integrations
• Responsible for administration and approvals of people solutions
• Assist with any People Solution-related queries/issues/diagnostic tests and analyse HR data to provide rapid resolutions to any solution/technology challenges.
• Work extensively with data and gather essential insights that drive business administration decisions, providing findings/recommendations to stakeholders for continuous improvements of our solutions and processes.
• Familiar with all HR processes and workflows.
• Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for solution processes to reflect updates and ensure effective system maintenance, training and coaching HR users on proper process and functionality
• Contribute to solution decision-making, scoping, and prioritising for technology projects in support of the overall People strategy
• Keep track of technological advancements and trends across people solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency and data security – working closely with People Analytics and People Services
• Work in an agile way to deliver efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
Essential:
- 3+ years of experience working in HR and/or HR tech.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to learn and apply new functionality quickly
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in defining business requirements in the context of self-service channels ideally in HR or shared services environment
Desired:
- Experience in improving employee experience
- Expert with various people solutions applications such as Oracle, ServiceNow HR
- Project Management experience
- Experience writing functional/technical documentation
- Mass transactions, such as bulk uploads/integration with HDL/OIC
Managing service requests via a Ticketing system, e.g., ServiceNow
