PCV Shunter / Cleaner
We are looking for a PCV Shunter / Cleaner to join our team, responsible for fuelling, charging, and shunting our vehicles in the evening.

- Hours: Minimum 37 hours per week, working between 20:00 and 05:00 on a rolling rota (8 days on, 6 days off)

Your responsibilities
- Clean all vehicles to company standards, including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, emptying bins, and responding to any missed cleans during early run-out
- Carry out deep cleans in line with the schedule on the Freeway system
- Shunt vehicles within the yard
- Monitor vehicle charging, report issues, and contact management out of hours if required
- Work safely at all times, including proper handling of cleaning products/chemicals, wearing PPE, and keeping work areas tidy
- Report any defects during your shift following company procedures
- Use the bus wash, carry out manual cleaning of vehicle fronts, rears, and alloys, and close down the wash when required
- Fuel diesel vehicles, add AdBlue, check oil levels, and top up screen wash
- Perform visual coolant checks on all vehicle types
- Keep workshop and canteen areas clean, including emptying bins
- Monitor yard security and carry out banksman duties as needed
- Answer the support phone and respond to operational requests
- Complete quality checks with Duty Managers
- Undertake any other duties or ad hoc tasks reasonably required in line with your main responsibilities
What we need from you
- A full car driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to gain a PCV licence
- Pride in keeping vehicles clean and presentable
