Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Paving & Slabbing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laying paving slabs, block paving, and other hard landscaping tasks. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality finishes on a range of residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay paving slabs, block paving, natural stone, concrete, and other materials to a high standard
- Interpret site drawings, levels, and measurements
- Prepare groundworks, including excavation, compacting, and laying sub-base
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and finish of all paving/slabbing installations
- Operate necessary tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Liaise with site supervisors or project managers as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in paving, slabbing, or hard landscaping
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret site plans (desirable)
- Good understanding of levels, drainage, and ground preparation
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
