Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Paver to join our team, responsible for the installation and maintenance of paving materials in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and be adept at working with a variety of tools and materials. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain paving surfaces including driveways, patios, and walkways.
- Prepare surfaces for paving by clearing debris and ensuring proper drainage.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, and masonry to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets project specifications.
- Assist in the fabrication of custom paving solutions as required.
Skills
- Proficiency in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in the paving industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

Pay: £180.00-£250.00 per day
