Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. You will join us at a very exciting time as we begin our journey as a new Omoda Jaecoo dealership in addition to being a Nissan Approved Service Centre.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our parts department runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, maintaining inventory, and providing exceptional service through effective communication. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you will also be required to assist in our busy service department. This will include booking customers in and out, answering service calls, invoicing etc.
Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that stock levels are optimised.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Serving the workshop with any parts enquiries to repair cars in the workshop.
- Process orders and manage the delivery of parts to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless operations within the organisation.
- Utilise Excel for tracking inventory, managing orders, and reporting on parts availability.
- Provide support in maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
- Arranging parts returns that are required by Nissan/Omoda Jaecoo.
- Stay updated on new products and industry trends to better assist customers.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential for managing inventory and reporting tasks.
- Previous experience in a similar role or automotive environment is essential.
- A keen attention to detail is necessary for maintaining accurate records and ensuring customer satisfaction.
