We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Duties
- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication.
- Support individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions and outcomes.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Facilitate assisted living tasks to support individuals in maintaining their independence.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition to relevant professionals.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in care settings, particularly in home care or residential care environments. A background in behaviour management is advantageous, along with skills in manual handling and medication. Certification in first aid is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided. A valid driving licence is essential for commuting. No transportation of clients.
