The Little Gym, the world’s leading motor skills development programme for children aged 4 months to 12 years, has successfully been operating in Harrogate, Leeds and York for over 15 years. The programme uses gymnastics as a vehicle for teaching and developing motor skills together with music and activities including balls and games to help enhance physical, emotional, perceptual, social and cognitive development. Classes are taught by highly qualified and rigorously trained staff, in a safe but challenging and fun environment. Children at The Little Gym are encouraged to develop in a non-competitive environment thus building their self-confidence and laying the foundations for success in all aspects of their future lives.
The gyms have experienced steady growth with over 1700 children attending every week and we are keen to continue to build on this. We are looking to recruit energetic and enthusiastic instructors that can work in the evenings and weekends. The successful applicant will join our dynamic and committed team of instructors at an exciting time of continued growth. We are looking for a part-time instructors with excellent communication skills who will spend the majority of the time teaching curriculum-based classes to children. With the rest of the time dedicated to growing our membership numbers through excellent customer service, marketing to potential members and assisting with the day-to-day routine of the gym. We are looking for individuals who ideally have previous gymnastics experience and have a HUGE love for working with children of differing ages.
