ABOUT THE ROLE
To support the Finance Manager to carry out accurate accounting procedures and meet the targets and deadlines required of the department by the Company and external bodies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Matching/reviewing of invoices to delivery notes
- Processing invoices to accounts package
- Reconciliation of creditor statements at month end
- Preparation of month end supplier payment run
- Set up BACS payments as requested
- Processing of journals to the nominal ledgers
- Reconciliation of nominal ledger balances to sales and purchase ledger control accounts
- Recognition of invoices and VAT treatment assessing whether allowable or reclaimable and carrying out the correct coding of disallowable spend
- Maintenance of the petty cash books
- Intrastat returns
- Filing/retrieving of documents and annual archiving of documents
- Upkeep of reps business mileage records and expenses
- Posting of employee expenses and monthly credit card statements
- Analysis of carriage costs incurred by the company
- Aiding with the preparation of Invest NI grant claims

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This is a part time role working 9am-1pm Monday to Friday (20 Hours per week)
- There may be a requirement to travel to other group sites from time to time
