Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part Time Care Assistant to join our team at The Raikes. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing essential support and care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a warm and friendly environment.
- Help with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment for all residents.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
Additional Information
- This role requires a DBS check to be completed, you will be required to pay for this but will be reimbursed on successful completion of a 6 month probation.
- Part time hours available 16-24 per week.
- Shift patterns vary, you will be required to work a mixture of early and late shifts, and all staff work alternate weekends.
