Job Overview:
This is a part-time remote role for an Activities Lead. The Activities Lead will be responsible for running and leading our Rise seated sports programme. They will also be responsible for adapting exercises to suit the needs and abilities of their clients and ensuring that the environment is safe and inclusive for everyone who participates. You will receive full training on this to get you off to the best possible start!
We have a brilliant team in place and we are looking for kind people with great communication skills, the ability to lead a group of people to do seated sports and the desire to make a genuine difference to the attendees.
You will be moving from session to session with equipment so MUST be a car driver with a vehicle.

Qualifications
- Experience in leading recreational activities (ideal)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt exercises to suit the needs and abilities of participants (with training & support)
- Understanding of health and safety practices in a recreational setting
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience and/or education in healthcare or social care is preferred
- Certification in relevant areas like fitness, or occupational therapy is a plus
- A passion for improving the lives of others
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends!
The sessions are run around the Southport area so looking for someone based in these locations and willing to drive. The sessions are generally between 10am-4pm on weekdays so could suit parents, people working in the care sector, hospitality, and creative industry, as this role can work along side existing commitments.
