Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant experience in painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high-quality finish on various projects. The Painter will be responsible for both interior and exterior work, contributing to the overall aesthetic and maintenance of properties.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired shades and finishes.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in painting roles is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience driving is an advantage for travelling between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
