Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through paint and decoration, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our clients' expectations. This role requires an eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively team members.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- ames taping and filling to new plaster board partitions
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.
Skills
- Proficient in painting techniques and methods, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to drive to various job sites as required.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A creative mindset with the ability to visualise the end result of projects.
- Previous experience in painting and decorating is essential
