Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, providing help as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively, enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Proficient time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for accurate order taking and billing processes.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
