Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Ensure proper mixing of paints and finishes to achieve desired colours and textures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain the quality of work.
Skills
- Proficient in construction painting techniques and practices.
- Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence preferred for transportation of materials.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
