The brand is soon to open their second boutique in London’s Marylebone as a direct result of experiencing dynamic growth across the business.
The Role:
As a Packaging Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are packaged to the highest standards. Working within our Edinburgh production site, you will be responsible for labelling and boxing products as well as performing quality control checks and contributing to a smooth production process.
The role is full-time working Monday to Friday 09:30-17:30 with 1 hour lunch and regular breaks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a packaging or production environment is preferable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to perform dexterous tasks.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Labelling and boxing product including compliance labelling, bottle labelling and boxing.
- Assist in packaging machinery operation and other related tasks including setup and changeover of packaging lines by assisting with adjustments and settings for different bottle sizes or packaging formats, ensuring the smooth transition between different product runs.
- Conduct routine cleaning by performing regular hygiene tasks, which helps prevent contamination and ensures the site operates at optimal performance levels.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals by assisting colleagues and following instructions, helping to achieve set packaging targets within scheduled timeframes.
- Report safety hazards and production issues to supervisors by promptly identifying and communicating risks or equipment malfunctions, minimising downtime and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Comply with all company quality standards.
About You:
· Ability to perform tasks that require attention to detail, hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
· Ability to understand and implement instruction from senior members of the team.
· Understand the need for changing priorities in order to meet deadlines.
· Ability to perform quality checks on packaging.
· Safe use of cleaning and sanitising chemicals.
· Effective time management.
· Ability to work in a team and communicate issues clearly and quickly
· Basic computer skills to record production data.
