Outdoor Learning Coordinator Moore House Group, Dunkeld Campus 24hrs per week
We have an exciting and rare opportunity available for a passionate and experienced Outdoor Learning Coordinator to join our team at Moore House Group, Dunkeld Campus. We are a supportive and dedicated team passionate about inclusive education.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neurodiverse children and young people.
This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging outdoor learning experiences that support our active, kinaesthetic curriculum.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role with opportunities for professional development as well as access to beautiful outdoor spaces for hands-on learning.
Some of the role responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate outdoor learning sessions that align with the needs of our children & young people's needs, promoting engagement and personal development.
- Lead and support activities within the John Muir Award, Forest Schools, and Duke of Edinburgh Award framework.
- Develop and implement a hands-on, kinaesthetic curriculum that supports a range of learning needs and abilities.
- Work closely with teaching staff, support workers, and external partners to integrate outdoor learning into the wider curriculum.
- Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through outdoor experiences.
- Adapt activities to suit a range of physical, sensory, and cognitive needs, ensuring all children & young people can participate fully.
