Order Fulfilment/Retail Assistant
Full-time | Based in Gilston, Nr Harlow, Herts
Mylee London is a growing personalised gift company specialising in homeware, gifts and jewellery. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Order Fulfilment Assistant / Retail Assistant to join our workshop team.
Your main responsibility will be ensuring that all orders are personalised and dispatched on time each day. This includes engraving - our most common form of personalisation - as well as other techniques used across our product range.
A full UK driving licence (manual) is essential, as you will be required to drive the company van to events. You must also be willing to stay away from home when shows require overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personalising products with care and accuracy, primarily through engraving
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders to a high standard
- Keeping the personalisation and packing area organised and clean
- Carrying out quality control checks before dispatch
- Repackaging stock and preparing products for sales or events
- Supporting other departments during quieter periods
- Occasionally attending UK-based events, trade shows, and pop-up shops
- Setting up and taking down the stand, handling on-site payments, and engaging with customers
- Driving the company van to and from events
- Staying away from home when required for multi-day events
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Able to work well under pressure, especially during busy periods with high order volumes
- Technically minded and confident using a computer (e.g. running engraving software, printing labels, using order management systems)
- Organised and dependable, with a proactive and positive attitude
- Ability to meet daily deadlines and manage a varied workload
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and understands that some parts of the job can be routine
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed
- Friendly and professional, especially when representing the brand at events
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to work evenings/weekends for events when required
- Experience with engraving or personalisation is a bonus, but training will be provided

Working Hours:
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (based at our Gilston workshop)
Some evening or weekend work may be required during peak periods or events.
