Call-In Homecare Ltd, est. 1991, is a leading independent provider of domiciliary care services across Scotland's central belt and Dundee. Our colleagues and service users are at the heart of everything we do and our team of experts in local care services support our staff to provide safe, bespoke and excellent quality care services to our clients across Scotland.

We are seeking to recruit an Office Support Assistant to assist our busy operations in our Edinburgh South Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing clerical and reception duties
  • Answering and fielding phone calls
  • Providing telephone support
  • Operating the organisation's switchboard
  • Liaising with the local authority, clients, and carers on an ongoing basis
  • Managing the care package referrals process
  • Setting up new clients and staff on our electronic scheduling system
  • Scheduling carers new shift patterns
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Maintaining stock of PPE by anticipating work requirements, ordering supplies, and distributing supplies where necessary
  • Participation with the out of office on-call service

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

This important role requires a highly motivated, self driven individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, time-management, organisation and IT skills.

Shift pattern: 5 days over 7 , 1 weekend in 3 on a 3-week rolling rota and will include On-call duties at enhanced rate.

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
