Office Administrator/Receptionist
The Dental Law Partnership are an award winning leading Dental Negligence Solicitors located in Nantwich, Cheshire. As a Legal 500 recommended firm, we are market leaders in our field with over 25 years' experience.
Due to expansion we are currently looking to recruit an Office Administrator/Receptionist to work with our team of highly skilled professionals and dental negligence specialists.
Purpose Of Role
To provide high-quality administration assistance to the firm and all of its Directors/Fee Earners and working with our support staff where necessary.
General Workload
- Reception Duties/answering main switchboard.
- CSA overflow assistance - taking new enquiry calls in a timely/efficent manner.
- Assisting with post: Opening / scanning / putting up - once signed all letters/parcels given to you for you to frank in readiness for collection by Royal Mail at 5:00pm.
- Maintaining files are in good order so that they are complete and easily traceable.
- Photcopying as and when required.
- Ensuring printers are stocked with paper.
- Monitoring stationery supplies and ordering the same.
- Passing all incoming post to relevant fee earner.
- Any other duties as may be directed.
Undertaking training as required to maintain competence in the role.
Office Systems
Have knowledge of and comply with all applicable procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Case Management Manual and to be able to use the following equipment:
- Reception/Telephone system
- The firm's Case Management System and Microsoft Word
- Printers
- Photocopier
- Franking Machine

Skills and Personal Characteristics Required:
- Ability to maintain good communications with Directors, all Fee Earners and support staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Good telephone manner.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willing to comply with or suggest improvements to the firm's procedures.
- Computer literate and knowledge of software applications.
- Patience and a sense of humour.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, ambitious and well organised. You must be a good team player with the ability to provide excellent service standards to clients.

- A 35 hour working week.
- 31 days holiday a year including bank holidays and Christmas closure, with the option to buy an additional 5 days holiday per year. We also provide a long service award meaning your holiday entitlement including bank holidays and Christmas closure would increase incrementally each year to 36 days after 5 full years service and to 41 days after 10 years full service.
