We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Office Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the Office Manager and Company Directors in the smooth running of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and Directors
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails, and handle customer enquiries professionally
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for engineers and company leaders
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases (including job logs and client information)
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and supplier communication
- Manage office supplies and general office upkeep
- Support with HR administration including timesheets, holiday tracking, and onboarding
- Help coordinate health & safety compliance documentation and certification renewals
- Perform other general administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role (preferably in a construction or trade-based business)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using CRM or job management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, friendly team
- Trustworthy, punctual, and professional at all times
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the plumbing, heating, or construction industry
- Familiarity with accounting or job scheduling software (e.g. Xero, SimPRO, ServiceM8)

Pay: £23,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
