Brief Description
Paul Lavery Support supplies amazing mentors to work with SEND/SEMH young people. We have a growing team of mentors and require an administrator that can help us grow and flow.
We’re looking for an experienced Office Administrator. This position will play a vital role in the operation and organisational strength of our company. The Office Administrator will provide administrative support, answer and respond to calls and emails as well as other office-based duties. You will work with our office manager and be asked to complete other duties not on this list from time to time. Talking to parents, young people and professionals will play a big part of your day.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct clerical duties, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails and preparing documents.
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
- Perform basic accounting tasks, including invoicing and budget tracking.
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
- Schedule timetables and staffing operations.
- Provide administrative support for office manager.
- Submit timely reports and prepare presentations / proposals as assigned.
- You may be required to carry out such other duties as required by the office manager as the needs of the business require. You will not be asked to carry out any duties that are not within your capabilities.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an office setting.
- Experience within a school or young person setting is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and office management software.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have a GCSE pass / grade 4 in English & Maths
- Must have a full UK driving licence.
