Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to managing office tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop/office environment, providing support to staff and maintaining efficient administrative processes.
Duties
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence with excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Utilise Microsoft Office for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Sage, including invoicing and stock tracking.
- Organise files and maintain an effective filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
- Support team members with clerical duties as required, including typing reports and preparing meeting materials.
- Coordinate office supplies inventory, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
Experience
- Strong computer skills are required, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Familiarity with Sage is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
