Priory Hospital Roehampton, a registered hospital in London, is a welcoming and highly respected rehab facility, offering expert mental health and addiction treatment.

We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. Our team offers tailored treatment for substance addictions, including alcohol, cocaine and heroin, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.

At Roehampton, you’ll be supported by a compassionate team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nurses and mental health professionals who are committed to your wellbeing. What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • Monitor and document patients’ progress, reporting observations and changes to the supervising occupational therapist.
  • Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and workspaces to ensure a safe and effective treatment environment.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and assistive devices to promote independence outside of therapy sessions.
You can find additional information in the attached job description.

What you'll bring to the role

Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

Candidates for the position of Occupational Therapy Assistant are required to possess an associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and must hold current licensure or certification as mandated by state regulations. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate adaptability in implementing individualized treatment plans to effectively meet the diverse needs of patients.
