Doctors Direct have an exciting opportunity for a Occupational Health Consultant to work with us at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. Our client is looking for dedicated doctors ready to work in a world-renowned centre of clinical excellence.
Duties:
- Occupational Health Assessments: Conduct comprehensive occupational health assessments, including physical exams, medical history reviews, and exposure evaluations, to identify workplace hazards and health risks.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of occupational health policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Employee Education: Provide training and educational programs to employees, managers, and leadership on occupational health topics, including safety protocols and ergonomic practices.
- Case Management: Manage occupational health cases, including work-related injuries and illnesses, and coordinate appropriate medical care and return-to-work plans.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with occupational health regulations and industry trends, ensuring the organization's practices remain compliant and effective.
Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Occupational Health.
- Strong Clinical Skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Requirements:
- 6 months NHS experience
- Valid GMC registration
- Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
