Are you passionate about giving children with SEND the best possible start in life?
Are you driven to make a meaningful impact on inclusive early years provision in Cheltenham?
If so, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Cheltenham. This is a term-time only position, working 39 weeks per year.
At Dingley’s Promise, our centres provide a safe and nurturing space for children aged 0–5 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to develop key skills through play. We also work directly with families to offer guidance, training, and emotional support, and we provide advice to mainstream early years settings to promote inclusive practice.
About the Role
Working under the guidance of the Centre Manager or Deputy, you’ll be part of a passionate team delivering high-quality, inclusive early years education and care. You’ll help ensure the daily running and future development of our Cheltenham centre aligns with the aims and values of Dingley’s Promise.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Warm, approachable, and a good listener—especially when supporting families who may be facing emotional challenges
- Committed to building trusting relationships with parents and empowering them to feel confident and included
- A strong team player who is willing to contribute to staff meetings and collaborative planning
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent), or currently working towards this qualification
If you’re ready to help shape a more inclusive future for young children in Cheltenham, we’d love to meet you.
