Are you a nurturing, energetic and qualified childcare professional looking for a new opportunity in a warm, OFSTED-regulated nursery? JC Little Explorers in Headley is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team on a maternity cover basis starting October 2025.
You’ll play a key role in supporting children's development through play-based learning, working as part of a friendly, experienced team dedicated to giving every child the best start in life.
Your Role:
- Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for children aged 0–5
- Plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and learning journeys
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
- Work collaboratively with your team to maintain high standards of care
We’re Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A sound knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills
- A caring, flexible and proactive attitude
