**Job Type:** Full-Time (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts – 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
### **Job Description:**
We are seeking a **qualified and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner** to join our nurturing childcare team in **Billericay**. The ideal candidate will hold a **full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years/Childcare qualification** and have a **minimum of two years’ experience** in a **nursery or childcare setting**.
This role is perfect for a **dedicated childcare professional** who is passionate about **early childhood development** and providing **high-quality care** to young children. Experience in **medication rounds** and a background in **nursing home care** will be highly advantageous.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide **outstanding care and education** to children in line with the **EYFS framework**.
- Plan and deliver **engaging, age-appropriate activities** to support children’s learning and development.
- Ensure **safeguarding and welfare** policies are followed at all times.
- Administer **medication** (where required) and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with **parents and carers** to support children’s progress.
- Maintain a **safe, clean, and stimulating** nursery environment.
- Support children with **additional needs** where necessary.
### **Essential Requirements:**
- **Level 3 (or higher) Early Years/Childcare qualification** (Full & Relevant).
- **Minimum 2 years’ experience** as a **Level 3 Nursery Practitioner** (or similar role).
- Knowledge of **medication administration** in a childcare setting.
- Previous experience in a **nursing home or elderly care setting** is desirable.
- Strong understanding of **EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements**.
- Excellent **communication and teamwork** skills.
### **Desirable Skills (Not Essential):**
- Experience working in a **nursing home** or **care home environment**.
- Background in **healthcare, nursing (RGN, RMN, RNLD), or clinical support roles**.
- Additional training in **pediatric first aid, SEN, or child protection**.
