Housekeeper / Cleaner – 29-Bed Care Home
Location: Polebank Hall Residential Care Home, Stockport Road, Hyde, Cheshire SK145EZ
Hours: 2 x part time positions available - 10 - 25 hours per week.
Pay: £12.40ph
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team and help keep our home sparkling clean, fresh, and welcoming for our residents.

What you’ll be doing:
- Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, and communal areas clean and tidy.
- Following cleaning schedules and infection control guidelines.
- Respecting residents’ privacy and dignity while working in their rooms.
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely (full training given).
- Supporting the laundry service when required.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone with a keen eye for detail and pride in their work.
- Experience in cleaning (care home, healthcare, hotel, or similar) is an advantage – but we’ll provide full training.
- A friendly, approachable manner and respect for older people.
- Reliability and the ability to work as part of a team.
