As the company prepares for continued growth and investment, Glennon Brothers is now seeking to appoint a Nightshifts Blade Changer to join our Production Team in Humbie, Edinburgh at our Windymains site.
Job Description
Based in Windymains, the Blade Changer will report to the Department Supervisor, and will play a key role in the production process of all our products for the construction, pallet wood and fencing industries. Glennon Brothers wants to see its employees develop and learn and therefore additional professional training will be encouraged/provided.
Your role as a blade changer may include:
- Changing knifes,
- Maintaining sawmill equipment
- Cleaning knifes and circular saws
- Removing and replacing saw blades
- Operating manual and computer controlled tools and equipment.
