Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Night Senior Care Assistant. As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in a care home or home care setting. Duties:
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help individuals with household tasks, such as light cleaning and laundry
- Follow care plans and ensure individual needs are met
- Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals
Experience:
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not required
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Familiarity with care home or home care procedures and protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans is a plus
