Monachyle Mhor Hotel is looking for a experienced hotel Night Porter to join our team. Working this role commences mid October. The role can be permanent or working over the winter season to March/April 2026.

As the Night Porter part of your role will ensure that our guests rest securely overnight and that they wake up with the greatest start to their day. Your role will also involve dealing with guests and colleagues, serving drinks and food during and after service, handling early/late checkouts, answering phones, security of the hotel overnight, cleaning and clearing guest areas, therefore it is important that you have experience in a similar role.
The Night Porter is instrumental in overseeing the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise. This is a hands on role managing the guest expectations and ensuring the standards of the hotel are maintained.
Monachyle is situated on its own 2000 acre estate. The hotel itself has 18 individually styled rooms with 5 self-catering properties. The restaurant seats up to 60 guests with optional private dining areas overlooking Loch Voil & Loch Doune. We have a barn which is used for weddings & events which can hold up to 120 guests. Our menus are seasonal & change daily depending on what is growing in our garden or has been forage that day. We have an extensive wine list chosen & tested by the team with a fully stocked bar serving cocktails made with garden ingredients.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiasm and get up and go, excellent communication skills, great time-keeping, personality, passion with a genuine love for food, service & drink! Experience in the industry is a must and you must have experience working within a luxury hotel background and similar role. Strong knowledge of wine & cocktails is preferred, you will be working hands-on over breakfast service and assisting with dinner service as required. You must have bar experience. A knowledge of Mews would be advantageous and priority given to applicants with this knowledge.

Thursday to Sunday (Monday morning) 10pm to 10am, 4 nights.
Live in or Live out, must live local if live out and be able to drive with own transport.
Must speak English and be eligible to work within the UK with no sponsorship required.
