We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. This position involves managing front desk responsibilities, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in billing
- Manage check-ins and check-outs for guests during the night shift
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by providing excellent customer service
- Prepare reports on occupancy and other key metrics for management review
- Ensure the front desk is organised and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred
- Strong guest services background with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Proficiency in phone etiquette to handle guest calls professionally
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous for effective communication with diverse guests
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus
