SALARY: National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage
HOURS: 09:00-17:15, Monday to Friday

What does a New Business Assistant look like at Sills & Betteridge?
At Sills & Betteridge, our New Business Administrator is the first point of contact for many of our conveyancing clients.
You will be a confident and capable individual working alongside our departmental manager to support the dynamic Conveyancing Team—helping clients feel reassured and comfortable as they begin their journey with us.
This exciting, fast-paced role is ideal if you have excellent interpersonal, time management, and organisational skills, and offers a great opportunity for you to join a company with a Glassdoor rating of 4.9 and looking to start a career in the legal sector.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Communicates with warmth and confidence—comfortable taking inbound enquiries and following up with potential clients by phone
- Builds trust rather than pushes a sale—understanding that clients are often making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, so a calm, clear, and reassuring approach is essential
- Understands the world of property—whether through estate agency experience or good knowledge of the conveyancing process, you can explain things simply and professionally
- Thrives in a busy, fast-paced team—organised, able to manage multiple enquiries, and committed to ensuring every new client gets a positive first impression
All applicants should have Maths and English GCSEs at grades A–C (or levels 4–9).
No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided—but a positive attitude and a proactive, strong work ethic are essential.
