We are a community-based service and assess and treat children and adults who have acquired neurological conditions that have altered the way they communicate and swallow. We support our clients’ recovery through expert assessment and bespoke multidisciplinary rehabilitation. We also offer remote working opportunities where clinically appropriate.
Job description
Our friendly Linguistic Resolutions Team are looking to take on additional associate (self-employed) Speech and Language Therapists to join our paediatric and adult neurology service across London and the surrounding counties.
Your role would mainly include working within the multi-disciplinary team as part of specific medico-legal rehabilitation cases.
You would be part of an established, innovative and clinically strong team committed to our patients and our clinical expertise/development. We are able to offer supervision across a range of specialist areas within neurology and medico-legal working, organisation/admin support and being part of a very unique team. Consultant work with us provides the flexibility of self-employment with the benefit of having a highly supportive team around you, in order to aid both clinical and professional development in the private SLT context.
We are keen to recruit long term SLT's only. This post would particularly suit a Speech and Language Therapist who:
- Is keen for flexibility in their life, particularly in relation to working hours
- Has specialist knowledge in neuro-disability and acquired brain injury.
- Has experience of working in the community and (ideally) access to a car for travelling to patients.
- Is organised, adaptable and professional in order to work across different teams and client groups.
- Is passionate about strong multi-disciplinary working and would like to learn from other professionals
- Ideally has experience of working with dysphagia
- Is eligible to work on a self-employed basis (please check your visa conditions if you are currently on a visa)
