Dynamix are looking for a hands-on, reliable, and flexible Multiskilled Operative to join our busy joinery workshop on a night shift. This is a varied role supporting all areas of production, ideal for someone with a good base of joinery skills and a can-do attitude.
You’ll be working as part of a small night team, helping keep operations running smoothly across different tasks and machines.
Shift Pattern & Pay:
- Monday to Thursday nights – 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- 3-day weekend every week (Friday to Sunday off)
- £14.50 per hour
Please note: Flexibility to move to a standard day shift may be required if sales fluctuate. We’re looking for candidates who can adapt as business needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general joinery workshop duties
- Operate or support on edgebanders and other woodworking machinery
- Handle manual tasks, including lifting, moving, and prepping materials
- Support the CNC Operator with prep, loading, and basic operations
- Assist with saw operations (training provided if needed)
- Keep the workshop clean, tidy, and well-organised throughout the shift
- Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently
- Carry out wrapping, packing, and end-of-line tasks
- Manage work in progress (WIP) to ensure smooth handover to the morning shift
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a joinery or woodworking environment
- Comfortable using workshop tools and assisting with machines
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
- Proactive and able to work well as part of a small night team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of manual work
- Forklift licence essential
