Dynamix are currently seeking a reliable and experienced CNC Operator to join our busy joinery workshop on a night shift. This is a great opportunity to be part of a skilled and friendly team producing high-quality bespoke joinery products.
Shift Pattern:
- 4 nights on: Monday to Thursday
- 3 nights off: Friday to Sunday
- Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Pay: £15 per hour
Please note: Flexibility to move to a standard day shift may be required if sales fluctuate. We're looking for candidates who are adaptable and responsive to business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Biesse Rover A nesting CNC machine to cut, shape, and prepare timber components
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Ensure all CNC work meets required accuracy and quality standards
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
- Operate Biesse Skipper drilling machine (training provided if required)
- Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a joinery or woodworking environment
- Familiarity with Biesse machinery and B Solid software (preferred)
- Ability to read CAD drawings and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently on night shifts
- Willingness to adapt to day shift patterns if required
