Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Multi Trader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set across various trades, enabling them to carry out a range of maintenance and repair tasks efficiently as well as working across different companies within our group.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general maintenance and repairs across multiple trades.
- Assist on various building sites with duties including; carpentry, groundworks, landscaping, roofing and other (if able to do so).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are follow
- ed.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects effectively.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used for reporting purposes.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader or in a similar role within the maintenance or building sector.
- Strong knowledge of various trades including carpentry, groundworks, landscaping and general repairs.
- Experience in other trades always beneficial.
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
- A valid driving licence and own transport to get to and from sites.
- Own tools.
- Relevant certifications in trades (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques within the trade industry.
Our office is based in Horley and work will be all around Surrey, Sussex & Kent. Majority of which being within a 30 minute drive of Horley/Reigate.
Monday to Friday. working hours between 07:00-16:00.
Full Time, Self-Employed role.
£160.00-£200.00 per day depending on experience.
