Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Self Employed Courier to deliver nationwide from our customer's hub out of Lutterworth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires the driver to have access to a Long Wheel Base or Extra Long Wheel Based Van (Mercedes Sprinter size), strong communication skills, the ability to navigate effectively, and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Drive your own van to transport goods to various locations.
- no hand-balling.
- Communicate with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including signatures when required.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is an advantage.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment can be beneficial.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues is crucial for success in this role.
