Key Responsibilities
- Carry out building and maintenance works including:
- Kitchen fitting
- Tiling
- Flooring installation
- Basic plumbing and carpentry tasks
- Prepare empty properties for re-letting.
- Complete repairs in occupied homes where needed.
- Use council vehicles to travel between sites in Kettering and Corby.
Essential Requirements
- Experience:
- Proven history in multiskilled trade roles within social housing or similar.
- Skilled in kitchen fitting, tiling, flooring, carpentry, and basic plumbing.
- Experience with void and repair work.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Multiskilled Trades.
- Current Asbestos Awareness Certificate (must provide copy).
- Driving:
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to use council vehicles.
- Flexibility to work across Kettering and Corby depots.
