McGregor Projects Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various trades such as Plumbing, Electrical, Joinery and Decorating.
The position will involve working on a reactive maintenance contract across the central belt and assisting tradesmen on a daily basis around Glasgow & Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, plastering, and general repairs.
- Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance to residential and commercial properties.
- Assess and diagnose issues accurately and efficiently, offering effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, and hours worked in order to invoice the company weekly.
- Collaborate with management and other tradespeople to ensure total client satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Participate in ongoing E-Learning training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or in a similar role within the maintenance sector.
- Ideally have relevant trade qualifications or certifications in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, or similar fields.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driving license is essential.
