The Mount is a lovely traditional wet led pub on Blossom Street within walking distance of York City centre. There is a kitchen from which a small food offering could be delivered and for those who enjoy pub games there is a pool table and darts board. The pub has a real eclectic mix of customers from regulars to tourists to after work drinkers. For sunny days there is a small beer garden to the rear of the pub to soak up the sun and enjoy a cold pint.
As a town centre pub the Mount is popular amongst the locals and guests from the nearby hotel circuit and also York racecourse, which is withing walking distance. The new operator needs a strong weekly plan of events and reasons to visit. The pub is currently taking £4,500 a week and is 95% wet with a small own food offer, there is lots of potential for growth.
