We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Accurately diagnose faults using manual and computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Complete all work efficiently, professionally, and in line with manufacturer or industry standards.
- Ensure accurate completion of job cards, inspection sheets, and other documentation.
- Communicate effectively with staff members and service advisers regarding repairs and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a qualified mechanic / vehicle technician..
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
Desirable:
- Experience in a fast-paced workshop or garage environment.
- Electrical diagnostics experience is a bonus.
- Holding a valid MOT Tester Certificate for Class 4, 5, and 7 vehicles is highly desirable and will be a strong advantage in this role however it is not mandatory for this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
