Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Mortgage Completion Manager to join our Mortgage Brokerage in Garforth, Leeds.
The Mortgage Completion Manager will be primarily supporting the company Founder & Managing Director by engaging with clients, lenders, protection providers and third parties. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial documents and reports, utilising basic maths skills
- Management of client applications from first appointment to completion
- Assessing client documents and ensuring that they are in line with polices, criteria and compliance
- Chasing documents from clients and helping them complete fact finds if required
- Interact with lenders to ensure smooth progress of client applications
- Create letters and reports
- Speaking to clients about insurance policies
- Supporting advisors by conducting research with lenders and preparing for appointments
- Promote the profile of the business within the profession and wider community
- Handle incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, dealing with accordingly
- Assist with data entry and database management to ensure information is up-to-date and accurate
- Provide general support to visitors and staff, ensuring a welcoming environment
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,) and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
- Must be trustworthy and have a high level of integrity
- Provide a high level of customer experience
- Engaging with clients confidently face to face and over the phone
- Administration experience
- Self-starter with a positive, proactive, confident attitude
- Good communication skills and able to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Must communicate in a fair and clear manner
- Diary management
- You will have a fantastic telephone manner
- Previous mortgage administration/Paraplanner preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must
