Role Description:
As a Mobility Land Referencing Delivery Manager, you will lead and coordinate a team of Land Referencers, GIS specialists, and Data Wranglers to deliver statutory-required documents for complex infrastructure projects. You will act as a consistent point of contact between affected parties, communities, and project teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of Development Consent Orders (DCOs), Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs), and Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAOs). Working closely with Arcadis’ data teams, you will oversee the development of integrated land referencing systems that combine GIS, databases, and legal documentation to deliver excellence for our clients.
Role Accountabilities:
- Deliver all aspects of land referencing, including resource management, integration of GIS, databases, and document production to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Build and oversee an integrated database system linking all inputs through GIS platforms.
- Act as a key point of contact for affected parties, communities, and delivery teams to successfully deliver DCOs, CPOs, TWAOs, and hybrid variants.
- Collect, interpret, and review land ownership data, presenting it in clear and accurate formats to clients.
- Organize and oversee site visits for door-knocking exercises and posting notices, ensuring engagement with landowners.
- Manage and maintain accurate data within the land referencing system and verify updates to relevant mapping layers.
- Produce and quality-assure legal documentation, including order plans, books of reference, notices, and schedules.
- Manage land referencing enquiries within agreed service levels and ensure landowner engagement is recorded accurately in the CRM system.
- Communicate compassionately and effectively with members of the public and clients while managing stakeholder expectations.
- Provide task allocation and resource management for junior team members, supporting project managers with invoicing and timesheet management.
- Attend client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree-level qualification in a land-related field (e.g., Geography, Geospatial Science, Estate/Property Management, Planning, Land, or Property Law).
- Proficiency in GIS platforms (preferably ArcGIS).
- Knowledge of compulsory purchase projects and legislation (e.g., Transport and Works Act, Compulsory Purchase Act, Planning Act) is desirable.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and engage with landowners and stakeholders.
- Results-driven, team-oriented, and adaptable, with a can-do attitude.
