The Role
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Fabricator with MIG welding ability. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a leading organisation in the security industry. Tig would also be an advantage.
The applicant would need to versatile and be willing to work on site fitting, carry out deliveries as well.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fabricating and assembling gates (see examples at www.ardengateautomation.co.uk)
- Working on other fabrication projects as required
- Ensuring high standards of precision, strength, and finish
- fitting on site
- driving and delivering, Class C 7 tonne licence would also be an advantage
Requirements
- Proven experience with large fabrications
- Competent in MIG welding
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit (the role can be demanding)
- Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car
- Must live within 20 miles of our premises in Knowle, Solihull
Pay & Benefits
- Starting rate: £13.00/hour until moving onto performance-based priced work
- Skilled fabricators typically earn £20+/hour (over £4,000/month)

- Up to £40000 per year, depending on experience, speed, and quality when on priced work
