We are looking for an experienced and passionate Mental Health Recovery Worker Practitioner to work at our Derbyshire Peer & Support Recovery Service.

This is a part time role 21 hours a week

As a Mental Health Recovery Worker your role is to support individuals who are in mental health recovery to work on short term, goal based, targeted support. You will support individuals to achieve independence within their goals, looking at a person’s needs holistically. Promoting social inclusion within the community, signposting and partnership working to ensure a person has a full package or support to address their needs.

Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support Service, work in partnership with P3, Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health and Derbyshire Mind to deliver community-based support to individuals in their mental health recovery journey. We offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. We believe in working closely with individuals to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey. Mental Health Recovery Workers work under the leadership and guidance of the Service Manager.
