About the Role:
As our Meeting & Events Coordinator, you'll be the key point of contact for clients planning weddings, parties, corporate events, and private functions. You’ll guide them through every step of the planning process — from the first enquiry to the final farewell — ensuring every detail is perfectly executed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all incoming wedding and event enquiries from initial contact to post-event follow-up
- Conduct venue show rounds and client meetings with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Create bespoke event packages tailored to client needs and budgets
- Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, operations, reservations) to ensure seamless delivery
- Maintain accurate records and event documentation
- Meet and exceed sales and satisfaction targets
- Represent the Holiday Inn brand with warmth, creativity, and reliability
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in wedding/events planning or hospitality sales
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy environment
- Knowledge of hotel booking systems (e.g. OPERA or similar) is desirable
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends when required
